August 15th: ART@SDC Third Thursday Open Galleries


Join the Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) for a fascinating evening of "What's My Process" where artists from CoCA Collision: Past, Present & Future Members show discuss how they approach their subject matter, handle materials, and generally go about creating their work. Take a tour of the exhibition, meet the artists, purchase a new piece for your collection.

Jennifer Arlem Molina "Untitled Feelings"


Kate Alkarni Gallery presents their first live painting session as well as first artist led workshop.
Rachid Bouhamidi will be doing a live painting session in the front of KAG from 11am to 4 pm on August 15.


The workshop will focus on LED art design & programming and will be facilitated by LED artist John Windberg, creator of "Painting in Light" which is now on display in this summer's Love at Home show. You will learn electrical basics and how to create animation effects with lights using simple programming using free downloadable software.

Bilinear Art Consulting is hosting Free Margaritas featuring Demitri's Margarita Mix (both regular and low calorie) with (or without) Paco Chicano tequila from 6-9.
