WHERE: Seattle Design Center
WHAT: A thoughtfully selected, locally made
work of art is sort of a win-win for nearly anyone on your list: You
support the city's art community while showering a special someone with a
sentimental gift that will last longer than that pair of leather gloves
they're bound to lose.
Seattle Design Center's small works sale features stocking-sized pieces in a variety of mediums. The event includes over 300 works
from local artists represented by Bilinear Art Consulting, the Center
on Contemporary Art, the Community Artists Program at Meyer Wells,
the Eastside Association of Fine Arts, Gallery Context, and William and
Wayne.
All artwork was specially curated to fit the event's giftable and affordable theme,
and the variety of art ensures you'll find something for anyone—like
burlesque dancers for your cheeky roommate or a poppy painting for your
gardening grandmother.
Check out our slide show to get a sneak peek of the pieces.
WHEN: December 10 through 14 from 9 to 5 each day.
